About Our Ashram

A sacred spiritual center preserving ancient wisdom and serving humanity for over 2,000 years

Our History & Heritage

Durgapur Trinath Ashram stands as a beacon of spiritual light in West Bengal, carrying forward the sacred traditions of Juna Akhada — one of the oldest and most revered Shaivite monastic orders established by Adi Guru Shankaracharya over 2,000 years ago.

The ashram was established to serve as a spiritual sanctuary for seekers from all walks of life, providing guidance, education, and a space for deep spiritual practice and community service.

Our ashram is dedicated to the worship of the Holy Trinity (Trinath) — Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara, embodying the complete essence of Sanatan Dharma.
